I’m Here to Help

Beginning counselling can feel daunting — it takes courage to be open and vulnerable. That’s why creating a sense of safety and comfort is my first priority, both in how we work together and where we meet. Most sessions are offered online, allowing you the ease and privacy of your own space. However, flexibility is always possible — I also offer in-person sessions at my office in Bateau Bay, or we can meet in a quiet café, or even take a walk and talk if that feels more natural for you. Whatever the setting, the focus is always on what helps you feel safe, supported, and ready to engage in the process.

Anxiety

A racing heartbeat, tense muscles, shaky hands, or that constant feeling of dread — anxiety can feel overwhelming and impossible to control. It can drain your energy, steal your joy, and make even simple things feel hard. But freedom from anxiety is possible. With the right support, you can learn to calm your mind, steady your body, and rediscover a sense of peace. If any of this feels familiar, you don’t have to face it alone — reach out and begin finding hope again.

Trauma

Trauma can leave deep marks — moments that replay in your mind, emotions that surface unexpectedly, or a constant feeling of being on edge. It can make you feel disconnected from yourself or others and uncertain about how to move forward. But healing is possible. With the right support, those painful memories can begin to lose their power, and you can reclaim a sense of safety, strength, and freedom in your life.

Stress

Ongoing stress can creep in slowly — through work, relationships, or life’s constant demands — until it feels like you’re running on empty. It affects your sleep, your focus, and even your physical health. Learning to slow down, set boundaries, and find balance isn’t selfish; it’s essential. Through counselling or coaching, you can regain control, restore calm, and start living with more clarity and energy.

Identity & Value

So many people struggle with questions of who they are and where their worth comes from. It’s easy to measure ourselves by achievements, relationships, or others’ opinions — yet none of these define your true value. You were created with inherent worth and purpose. Counselling can help you rediscover who you are beneath the expectations and pressures of life, and begin to live with confidence, direction, and a renewed sense of self.

Depression

Depression can make life feel heavy and colourless — like the things that once mattered no longer hold meaning. It can bring exhaustion, numbness, or deep sadness that’s hard to put into words. But you don’t have to stay stuck there. With the right support, it’s possible to find light again — to rediscover hope, purpose, and the small moments of joy that make life meaningful. Healing often begins with a single step, and reaching out can be that step.
