About Me
Nigel Elliott
You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.
Life can feel heavy at times — weighed down by stress, anxiety, trauma, or the expectations we carry. My passion is to walk alongside people in those moments, creating a space where they feel safe, valued, and understood. I believe every person has incredible worth, and my role is to help you rediscover that worth and live with freedom, confidence, and peace.
My Background
Before becoming a counselor and coach, I spent many years working in youth work, alcohol and other drug services, and supporting individuals with neurodiversity. These experiences deepened my understanding of the challenges people face and the different ways resilience can be built.
I’m also a qualified carpenter and photographer, but my greatest fulfillment has always come from helping people. Outside of my practice, you’ll often find me surfing, playing music, or spending time outdoors with my family. I’m also actively involved in community and charity work, which keeps me grounded and connected.
As a qualified and registered counselor and coach, I bring together both professional training and life experience to offer support that is practical, compassionate, and tailored to each person I work with.
My Approach & Philosophy
I take a holistic approach to counseling and coaching — seeing people as whole beings with physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs. True healing and growth involve more than just managing symptoms; it’s about nurturing the whole person.
My practice is trauma-informed, meaning I work at your pace, with care and respect, ensuring that the space we create together feels safe. I combine evidence-based strategies with a belief in restoration: that no matter what has happened in the past, it is possible to find freedom, reclaim your value, and step into a fuller, healthier life.
